I'm sure we all just assumed that Charlie was already going through puberty. Now he wants to have sex with Lucy. Relationship wise, it's great development. Physically, it's scaring me what could happen, as it is for everyone in the show.

Charlie was already the strongest humanoid on the planet and now he's getting even stronger as he's going through puberty, I wasn't expecting that. I love how casual he was about asking Lucy for sex, and how she was okay with it. To be fair, she's such an oddball, she probably figured she'd have a hard time fitting in with normal men. It seems the series is really heading down the path of a romantic relationship between the two protagonists.

Charlie has not a single romantic bone in his body lol. He's so clinical about it. So he's entering puberty. That puts the choice of voice actress in perspective. Will his voice change in the future towards a typical adult male's one?

As soon as Charlie asked if Lucy liked him, I knew the next thing he was going to ask was to mate. Can't even ask a girl on a date and wants some booty. I knew Lucy was gonna be freaky because she had so little hesitation at the idea.

Anyway I felt that shit was too real. What the candidate says they'll do or believe doesn't matter at this point. Only their name. This is how Trump gets by despite a billion contradictory statements. People don't consume a whole discourse anymore, they just consume TikToks or Tweets from the candidate. There is no full coherent picture of what they really believe, but there is bits of evidence that they could believe several things. Shit with the current internet bubbles, it's likely you will never even see said contradictory evidence to what you believe of the candidate.

(That would have been a plot twist) I thought since she only had her mom around and her dad was missing I was like — wait a minute. Especially how drawn she is to him I thought maybe she would have known something and was just curious. but no...it was IVF LMAOOO. That definitely would have been weird for the romantic plot btwn the protagonists

The Feds are absolutely useless. The cops too. Charlie’s parents would still be alive if they did their damn job instead of invent new bullshit to try and nab Charlie with. Phil seemed like the only halfway decent cop in town so naturally he had to go.

Phil being present for Charlie more than lots of fathers out there, he had no hesitation handing over his badge instead of handing him over, that was cool.

I've NEVER thought they'd gone down that route when starting this show but holy shit I'm a glad i stuck through. As a person who really hates the whole "smart monkey is misunderstood throughout the story and feared and only supported by a few people" plot in ANY media... I'm very fkin glad I went in blind on this one. Such a delicious hidden gem.

Just in case anyone is curious, normal Chimpanzees are stronger than us mortals. Apparently, we humans are the wimps or geeks of the great ape world. ... I do hope Charlie can retain his emotional control. We’ve not really seen true rage from him, even when you might expect it. But we know chimps can get very angry.
