I’m sad too, but I also feel like upsets like this is good for baseball. The WBC wouldn't be as interesting if the 3 best countries (USA, DR, and Japan) always dominated. Nah. Watching Venezuela have so much fun gave me joy. Abreu’s 40 ft high bat “flip” was awesome and I want to see more of that in the MLB. Hopefully tomorrow night is a high scoring game with tons of dancing and jumping out of dugouts.

Actually, Japan couldn’t get the broadcasting rights, so I had no choice but to subscribe to Netflix to watch it. My subscription still has some time left, so I’m hoping the U.S. can finally win it all. Most of the Dodgers players are only on the U.S. side now anyway. to be fair, on the pitching side, a lot of guys didn't play due to injuries (think roki, senga, imanaga, Taira, etc).
