Frill: Ruby is raw but talented. I mustn't underestimate her

The Ruby lying scene... straight into the Ai-kane scene. Done with pure perfection. Chilling. You can easily tell that despite the carefree attitude at the end of it, that all was the real Ruby mindset.

Ruby's acting was goddamn amazing! But can it really be called acting when she's actually just letting out all of her bottled-up feelings about Ai and Gorou's deaths? I think the real acting here is the sudden switch to her being all 'normal' again.

Oh boy, when Ruby cried for her mother (as part of the rehearsal) she didn't flash back to Ai but rather her original one. Looked like the lifelong acting had began to take its toll on her and she began reverting to Sarina even if only for a brief moment.

So…I’m assuming that woman at the end is Ruby’s former mother?

Yes, the Tendouji introduced at the end of this episode is probably the mother of Sarina Tendouji. The hairstyle of the woman pictured at 2:45 and at 22:15 is similar to that of Tendouji at the end of the episode. Also, Ruby's monologue starting at 1:50 pointed out a parallel that Sarina had with Ai: her mother abandoned her.

Imma prepare to start crying next week, given the cliffhanger today and what issues of Ruby were brought up today.

Damn, that post credit scene hit hard. Ruby going through the whole process once more of having to remember that her parents didn't care all that much for her when she was sick. Then Ai having a similarly bad relationship with her parents that she now has to act out.

post credit scene introduces "Tendouji-san" Ruby's name before reincarnating was Sarina Tendouji. If that's her mother meeting her again will be really rough, I wonder what involvement she will have in the movie.

Mhm, they even reminded us this episode by showing us Sarina’s parents without the eyes around 2-3 minutes in, and mentioned her last name too.

All is pain for ~~Sarina~~ Ruby this episode. What more can her former Mother do?

Ah right, I was wrecking my brain cos I felt like I heard the name Tendouji before. Turns out it was earlier in the episode lol

Ruby is definitely not going to react well if she has to work with the person handling the advertising. Is the role of "Sarina" truly not over for her?

Megumi Han went from a human-deer hybrid to a lesser panda. And Kana? Girl’s still too weak for compliment… will she ever learn? LOL

Kana's reaction to Aqua calling her special to him was absolutely adorable. Too bad it's just Aqua being a piece of shit and manipulating Kana to get that reaction from her. Dude knows exactly what kind of effect he has on her.

Speaking of Aqua, it broke my heart to see him mention pulling Kana along. I was positive she was the one person he had pure feelings for. And now he talks about leading the one girl he supposedly truly loves to ruin… if I’m being honest, I’m starting to think of him as a flat-out villain.

Lol Aqua saying Arima should suspect people more or else she’d get taken advantage of by people like him. No dude, I think you specifically are the only person she’d let it slide.

First it's baking soda now it's being a panda, will Kana ever gain the respect she deserves!?

The former Komachi B member can't be happy that she is being portrayed as a bitch. This movie is such a bad idea the more you think about it..

It feels like such a turnaround from Season 1 when we first met Kana, and she was portrayed as the jaded veteran who knows how to play the game of entertainment... and by now, she's the one sweetheart who's too honest, trusting and good-hearted for her own good, and literally everyone else is plotting evil deeds.

That awkward moment when Akane and Aqua see each other in-person after breaking up. Akane vows to thwart Aqua if he uses the movie role for his ulterior motives. Aqua's darkness gave him a "Try me" attitude towards Akane.

So we have Detective Akane going against Avenger Aqua going head-to-head. Whatever Aqua is planning, Akane is gonna do whatever she can to stop him.

The Crow Girl was absolutely brutal with Aqua. She didn't even mince words and give him any kind of hope that Ai is somewhere out there, reincarnated, living a happy life. Daaaaaaamn.

Frankly, I wouldn't believe the Crow Girl at all and neither should Aqua.

1 Hour special next week. With the post credit scene, Ruby's original mom as Sarina, there seems to be tons to cover in 1 episode for the finale.

Only one episode left, after credit scene is here too. This season feels rushed compared to the others. Still enjoying it though. Kana is such a fool for Aqua

if what the Goddess of Arts hinted at was true, and Goro’s reason for reincarnating as Aqua was to avenge Ai’s death, then it means that Sarina’s reason for reincarnating as Ruby was to stop him. Just when I thought things couldn’t get more intricate than that!

I'm sad next episode is the last of the season, that means another year or more wait for OnK.
