Holy fucking shit I thought they’d used up all the sakuga allotment for the season and they deliver THIS for the penultimate episode? Hats off to Studio Kai this was amazing.

Wow, this looks absolutely stunning, the battles are epic, and I almost didn't notice the episode ending.

This anime keeps delivering stunning episodes every week. The fights and the animation is absolutely brilliant.

Grand scale fighting, and the cinematic shots are back for the finale, very good. How nice of the demons to wait for everyone's conversations to finish before sending the next wave into the city. Many explosions, and now we're left with just Spriggan and Kivia's uncle for the last episode.

This looked good, the last few minutes looked stunning. This was an action-packed episode to say the least, and it delivered on that front with its scale. Wouldn't say this was on par with some of the action I saw with Frieren but it was different and it still was visually really good. The writing and themes kind of took a backseat this time for just being an animation showcase of a battle and that worked.

Art and animation absolutely popped off in this one, and not even just in the battle with Boojum, the episode in general was action packed and it all looked amazing.

Clean ass fighting, sth similar to a type moon's Fate series battle kinda.

Most underrated anime of the season, it's so peak man.

Peak episode before the finale next week. Loved the synergy between all the heroes, they work as the most dysfunctional team, but they get the job done...in a destructive fashion as per usual :} Those deaths of the whale and the weird arm woman were brutal, but also so clean by the heroes, especially that Xylo and Jayce combo.

I knew Boojum wasn't a normal opponent, but I hadn't put together the fact that he was a demon lord! Whale got him to reveal the interesting tidbit of demon lords having a master. I wonder who is really pulling the strings here!

But the design of Boojum in his fairy form has gotta be one of my favourite monster designs in a while. He reminded me of a buffed-up Boros from One Punch Man. And the fight between him and Xylo was dopamine to watch :D

Honestly, Boojum was creepier in his "human" form.

Shiji Bau, Boojum and the Iron whale all dead and defeated in one episode. I didn't really care about the iron whale guy but I thought maybe more potential for Shiji Bau and Boojum.

The fight was cool. And it's confirmed that there's some kind of hive mind controlling the fairies, "The Monarch."

The scene where Teoritta was jumping up and down in order to speak through the window was really funny, Xylo had to boost her up. Xylo also feels like he is back in his prime!

The holy sword attack is still as awe inspiring as it was the first time Teoritta and Xylo used it and you can see how much they’ve grown as a team, becoming an extension of one another, totally on the same page!

The relationship and teamwork between Xylo and Teroritta was on full display and I gotta say it was a blast watching them fight together. Teroritta even took the charge with some of own attacks which was cool!

Also liked I think they destroyed the tower to cover up them using the Holy sword? I wonder if anyone's going to catch on that Teoritta has this crazy power?

I feel like this is the final stretch for Xylo and Teorrita's relationship, Xylo experiencing that 'moment' again and telling Teoritta to put her complete trust on him.

Oh yea, Teoritta asking for uppies so she could convince the civilians to cooperate is so cute. That’s daughter!!

Tatsuya fighting in any way other than running in full axe psycho mode would be cursed if he didn't look so damn funny methodically sniping frogs and stuff.

Tatsuya surprisingly can use a thunderstaff as well. Wow. I wonder if he's getting more intelligent or something cuz the more we learn about him, the less mindless he seems...maybe one day he'll speak to us? He is an isekai character as well right I wonder if he has a cheat skill or system or something idk cuz I remember seeing a theory that him tapping the air etc is him using a system.

Shinji Bau death is funny af to me because why were they just talking about having bacon for breakfast before 😭😭 Jayce and Neely are so cool.

Kivia having to go ask Frenci for help was funny because you can see how timid she is around her because of her budding feelings for Xylo. OF COURSE Kivia had to let her know she’s only doing it for him lol. I noticed that Frenci made it clear that Xylo is going to marry into the Mastibolt family so hands off Kivia lol.

The politics plays are nice, the ragged tagged crew is well done, all characters have their purpose in the story, the antagonists have a good build up and are not comically evil dudes that you see in the rest on this genre...

Nothing will happen to Kivia right? Kivia has a lot of flags right now. She's probably going to get killed, captured, or sentenced at this rate, ngl I'm guessing probably a hero no way they're just going to kill her off right?

Best episode since the first I would say. That ending was perfect.

The series isn't ending anytime soon. With the next episode, they will have finished adapting the first 2 light novels. SEASON 2 HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!
