Technically, its better to be listed shorter than you actually are for the ABS. The shorter you are, the smaller the ABS strike zone, which makes it harder for a pitcher to strike you out. So 6'3 would be more of an advantage for Ohtani instead of 6'4 at the plate as far as ABS is concerned. However, heights are accurately checked so theres no advantages or disadvantages and 1 inch isnt that much of a difference when it comes to strike zone anyway.
