Bron,, Smart,, Ayton,, Rui are the only guys I trust.. EVERYONE ELSE… they can be moved off the team next year.

I'm not saying they were perfect but LeBron, DA, Marcus and Rui showed up to win tonight. The difference between a close game and a blowout was Reaves shooting a dismal percentage and Jake being legit clueless half the time out there.

Prayers up for Vando, nasty freak injury, he was trying his best out there. LeBron, Smart, and Rui did well tonight, all things considered. Smart had a rough shooting night but was instrumental on defense, which I think did well enough to consider us in this series.

Shout out LeBron, Smart, Ayton, and Rui. Only 4 players that did not look afraid of the moment. Unfortunately 4 fearless players are not enough to beat a team that is 11 deep. It's still Lakers in 7 though

Bron, rui and smart had a good game. Ayton was okay. We played good D for 3 quarters. the thing is we kept sga under control and that won't happen again. Austin killed us big time. This isn't the first time he no shows in a playoff game.

Realistically $25-35m/year max. Anything more will be a gross overpay. I'd prioritize Rui over him at this point and move AR in a S&T if he doesn't show that he can handle playoff basketball

I think our core of Luka Bron Rui Smart is enough to win a chip but we need role players that don't shit the bed under the bright lights.

Need to make AR like the fifth scoring option behind LeBron, Smart, Ayton and Rui the rest of the series until he start taking reasonable shots with reasonable accuracy. It's not the time for Reaves to play rehab games in the playoffs.

Seriously, AR needs bench minutes now. Actually the group with Smart/Rui/Lebron/Kennard was working pretty good

LeBron is incredible, man was on his own out there offensively bar Rui. Kennard needs to just jack it up off the bat, might as well find out if you're on a heater.

Lakers can't match up with OKC, with Luka maybe things get interesting. But without Luka, AR playing way below his standard (again in the playoffs, injury obviously doesn't help) Lakers really don't stand a chance unless Rui, Smart, Ayton, and Luke play like the monstars.

Why is everyone Debbie downers? This game did not feel like a blowout. We regularly kept it to within 10 until the fourth and even then they only extended the lead because they hit two threes within a minute of eachother in the 4th.

People going at AR, I get it but I'm not going doom and gloom on the guy. I'm not gonna look on the negatives because it's literally OKC we weren't going to beat them clean anyway so I'm just happy we're in the second round. Positively Bron didn't look bad here

I've said this many times, even though I love watching AR's game, he is simply not a core piece you want to build around for a championship team because of his physical limitations. Next to Luka his best case scenario is a slightly worse Mavs Kyrie - that team was almost perfectly built around Luka

so many people have been eager to remake a team missing it's best player. It's just a moving target. It was Rui we can't pay in the regular season. Then it was Luke after a few bad games. Now it's Austin. Contractual decisions will come down to more than just whether or not we win or lose this serie

These comments are crazy.. OKC is a great team. Don't know why there is so much anger and shock.. we should be proud and excited they've come this far given the setbacks. Enjoy the ride and look forward.

Losing convincingly with an elite Bron game and an awful Shai game is very concerning. Reaves always struggles against OKC so I'm pessimistic that he'll play well in many, or even any, of the games this series. This series seems destined to be a sweep or maybe we upset them once at home.

I actually think we played a good game. Unfortunately this was our best shot at winning until Luka is back imo. We need AR to at least be normal and not crappy, and Kennard to remember that he is a shooter lmao. But I don't see SGA turning the ball over as much again, and I think their offense will adjust to our defense from the next game.

The fact that Bron finally got a guy like Luka and we won't see a single playoff run with them together while Luka is healthy is sickening man

Lakers obvious flaws and lack of depth are always exposed against the top teams. This isn't a new development by the way, and yeah having Luka would add firepower to the squad, but that does not cancel out said flaws. This game by the looks of things in this thread was always the back to reality game the fans were going to experience. The Thunder are a BUILT team, top to bottom.

OKC really had no answer for him in the post. Even at 41, he continues to be an effective hammer against even the best defenses.
